The District was created by election in 1979 to service Tiki Island, with operations commencing in 1985. The district acquires water supply from the Gulf Coast Water Authority
and is responsible for Tiki Island’s water storage, pumps, and distribution systems.
The district also maintains the wastewater collection System, including the treatment plant at 802 Tiki Drive.
The District’s Board of Directors conduct a public meeting on the third
Wednesday of every month, at 5pm in the Public Safety Building, 747 Tiki Drive.

Water Sewer Taps
For new construction of residential homes, the costs for a water and sewer tap is $1,800.00. The cost of a water tap is $950 and a sewer tap is $850.00 each requiring an inspect fee of $25.
As of May 23, 2012, the DEPOSIT amount required to establish residential service is $200.00, as well as a non-refundable $15.00 Administrative Fee. Total Payment due at beginning of service is $215.00.
A Deposit is required for all existing service connections and for all new service connections.
